Pepperdine is a campus set on a hillside above the Pacific, with the ocean in view from the classrooms. Lessons run in the morning or the afternoon, and the rest of the day is a guided programme along the coast and across the city: Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, Rodeo Drive, the Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood studios. Evenings stay on campus with sports, movie nights and a graduation ceremony at the end of the course.
Perched on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean with stunning views, the campus has state-of-the-art classrooms, beautifully landscaped gardens and outdoor areas for relaxation, dining options and recreational facilities, and venues for cultural activities. Founded in Los Angeles in 1937 by the businessman George Pepperdine, the university moved to its present Malibu campus in 1972. It is a private university affiliated with the Churches of Christ.
